The Wichita Symphony Orchestra is one of three tenants that uses Concert Hall for its performances
Concert Hall features 2,195 continental-style seats (1,669 on the main floor, 502 in the balcony, and 24 in the box seats) of which 10 are wheelchair accessible with 30 companion seats. The stage is 49' deep with a proscenium which is 60' wide x 29' high with forestage lift and 38 working line set. The hall includes sophisticated state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment in addition to an infrared assisted listening system.
In 2010, Concert Hall was shut down for 54 days for a $820,000 renovation project. The project included new seats, paint, carpeting and stage improvements. This was the first phase of a $22 million Capital Improvement Project to upgrade and repair Century II over the next few years.
